In this position, you will:

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the subject matter pertinent to the position
  • Technical skills to successfully perform the duties of the position

Salary: Depending upon academic standing and experience, salaries range from $40,033 and up.

Contract Administrator - Keystone Position (1102 Series)

DOD Agency or Component: Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) is an independent combat support agency within the Department of Defense (DOD). We are the DOD's contract manager, responsible for ensuring Federal acquisition programs (systems, supplies, and services) are delivered on time within projected cost or price, and meet performance requirements.

In this position, you will:

  • In a developmental capacity, serve as a Contract Administrator in support of a warranted Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO)
  • Monitor contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, inspections, contract and data reporting requirements and other requirements stated in the contract
  • Be responsible for providing program support and positive action needed for the successful implementation and management of specifically identified high priority, high visibility programs directed by statute or higher levels of command
  • Assist in the administration of cost reimbursable and other more difficult types of contracts.
  • Prepare noncomplex orders under BOA's for supplies or services

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship

Basic Education Requirements:

  • A. Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees; AND
    B. At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management (This requirement can be obtained within the degree or in addition to the degree)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Knowledge of the subject matter pertinent to the position
  • Technical skills to successfully perform the duties of the position
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing

Salary: Depending upon academic standing and experience, salaries range from $27,431 to $65,371 (Does not include locality)
